Rule 38
Functions, Duties and Powers of the Safety and Health Committee

(1) The work, duties and powers of the Safety and Health Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To monitor and evaluate whether the policy made according to rule 34 has been implemented (B) To suggest to the employer for the policy to be adopted in relation to occupational safety and health or the improvement of the existing policy,
(c) To monitor and evaluate the implementation of occupational safety and health regulations mentioned in the Act and Regulations and give suggestions to employers.
(2) It shall be the duty of the Safety and Health Committee to comply with the instructions or orders given to the employer in relation to occupational safety and health by the additional department or office mentioned in sub-section (3) of Section 74 of the Act.
